About Sehore

The Nawabi town that became a spiritual capital of Madhya Pradesh.

Sehore sits an hour’s drive from Bhopal, at the confluence of the Sewan and Nagmati streams. Once a princely state under the Nawabs, today it draws lakhs of pilgrims for Kubereshwar Dham and its temples, while quietly preserving heritage havelis, gurudwaras and colonial-era buildings.

Weather & Best Time

October to March is pleasant (12–28°C). Shravan (July–August) is spiritually charged but rainy. Avoid mid-April to mid-June — very hot.

Culture

Malwi and Bundelkhandi traditions blend here — folk aartis, Sehore ki peda, Nawabi cuisine and vibrant temple utsavs.
